For the month of October, I decided we take our date to new heights. For this date I decided to push my anxiety to a whole new level and surprise Adam with a date to…
Blue Mountain Ski Summit Aerial Park High Ropes Course for two! This definitely was a new way to test my anxiety and my level of balance WHILE trying to maneuver the course. These tickets typically cost roughly $50 per person. I purchased these tickets for two at $49 total from Groupon.
I initially planned for us to spend our July date going whitewater rafting in Jim Thorpe, but found this really great deal on Groupon & Living Social that I could not give up. This activity begs you to answer the question: why not throw yourself down a waterfall?
There is nothing more exhilarating than the start of summer; the wind in your hair, sun in your face, and us throwing ourselves down a waterfall in the Poconos. I mean really, what could possibly go wrong?
Working at the Grand Canyon we have some perks the other companies do not have:
- Discounts at the Canyon grocery store and a few others that they own
- Free Camping Rentals
- Discounted Rafting Trips (Which I found out about….one day BEFORE we left the Canyon)
- Better employee housing
The other company got other (better) perks. We’re talking about $6 helicopter rides over the Canyon and free mule rides down the Canyon. Two of the things EVERYONE wants to do when they visit the Grand Canyon.
